Strawberry Fields parents community

Parents

A strong community within the nursery.

We have strong links with parents and value their support and involvement. Parents are welcome in the school and we regularly hold informal coffee mornings and class lunches. All parents are given a Parent Handbook when their child enters the school.

Our very active Parent Group organises fundraising events and social functions throughout the year. The group brings parents together to form a strong community within the nursery and to give back to the local community through its chosen charities.

The Parent Group also organises Parent Readers to come into school once each week to read to their class. The main fundraiser is the celebrated Strawberry Fields Winter Fair, held each November — one of the highlights of the school year.
